Delicious Events

I offer a variety catering and private dining options for small events in the greater New York City area.

People want food that is visually stunning but also hearty and delicious.

I'll admit that I love an artistic approach, but never at the expense of a fulfilling meal.

Even a canape should feel satisfying to eat.

That's why working with my clients on their own vision for their menus is very important to me.

I know not everyone knows what they want when it comes to impressing their guests,

so I do offer sample menus as well that can be chosen as is or customized.

Meet The Chef

Genna Megan Segarra is a Latina born in New York City. Raised by her mother and grandmother in East Harlem, with the help of their extended family. She owes her drive and determination to their constant love and support.

Her grandmother, renowned in their neighborhood for her food, was responsible for teaching her to cook. In a family full of creativity, most are adept in the kitchen. But she was the only one to fall in love with baking. So much so, she attended culinary school to pursue her dreams of one day opening her own bakery.

Although that dream took a backseat while life was busy making other plans, she continued to practice her craft, learn new techniques, and experiment with new ideas. Food and hospitality have been her life ever since.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 Pandemic was responsible for her and thousands of other chefs losing their jobs, it bought real clarity. Between the rise of the Black Lives Matters movement, the political rhetoric in response, and the rising infections and death toll, she was inspired to launch her business. To share what brings her joy with as many people as she can, in a time when everyone could use a little solace. To be a proud Latina and entrepreneur in a landscape where women and POCs have always struggled for equality. To be a force for good in the world, one happy customer at a time.

Splitting this business between private chef work and the bake shop is a challange that she is more than willing to take on.

Tomorrow is never guaranteed, so why put off your dreams for even one more day?
